A short drive from Niagara Falls Canada lies another natural gem to be discovered. In the picturesque Niagara countryside, Humberstone Ranch offers a contrasting experience to the thundering waters of the falls. Trade the misty sprays of Niagara Falls for gentle breezes of open pastures.
Where is Humberstone Ranch located?
Humberstone Ranch is about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls, Canada and one hour from Toronto. Our address is 3212 Forkes Road East in Port Colborne, Ontario. If you’re having trouble finding us with your GPS, try using the postal code L3K 5V5.
Do I need to make a reservation in advance to visit Humberstone Ranch?
Yes, reservations are required in advance to visit the ranch. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of both our animals and our guests. By making reservations ahead of time, we can properly prepare for your visit and allocate the necessary resources to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.
Are food and drinks available for purchase at the ranch?
While we do not currently offer food and drinks for sale at the ranch, we provide complimentary water and granola bars for our visitors. We recommend bringing any additional food or beverages you may need during your time at Humberstone.
Should visitors bring any specific clothing or equipment?
Dress comfortably and in layers for the weather. Ideal clothing includes jeans or long (not loose) pants as well as jackets/ shirts without hoods.
If you’re riding a horse, boots with a bit of a heel or traditional cowboy boots are preferred to ensure your feet stay secure in the stirrups. No jewelry that can get caught in the horse’s tack. Thin gloves are optional but no mittens. If you don’t have a riding helmet, they can be provided onsite.
