What To Expect During Your Animal Farm Visit
Immerse yourself in the simplicity of ranch life during our Fields and Friends Farm Tour. During this experience, you’ll get to interact closely with our animals, including spending time feeding mini goats, rabbits, piglets and cows. You’ll also get to see our horses grazing in their pastures or resting in stables.
Our Goats
Discover the unique and lively personalities of our goats. From the curious nibblers to the playful jumpers, each goat has its own distinctive behaviors.
You’ll love cuddling with twin sisters Clementine and Valentine, our mini fainting goats, who love being picked up and petted. Laugh as our mini Nigerian goats – Oscar and Theodore – bound around and climb.
Meet our entertaining Nigerian goats — Syd, Opal, Ruby and Twiggy — as well as our formidable Angora goat, Eddie. Make them lifelong friends after you feed them their favorite snacks!
Our Bunnies
In the hustle and bustle of the ranch, the Magical Garden – our rabbit enclosure – stands out as a tranquil retreat.
Steal cuddles and hand feed our baby French Lop bunny, Louis. Take a moment to simply sit and watch our pure white rabbits, Sparkles and Snowflake. Feed them and reconnect with nature in its most tender form.
Our Indian Runner Ducks
Our ranch is home to a charming group of Indian Runner Ducks: Donald, Daisy, Daffy, Darkwing, Huey, Lewy and Duey.
This breed is known for their unique upright posture and impressive running ability, resembling penguins as they waddle around. Despite their lively appearance, these ducks are gentle and friendly, endearing themselves to everyone they meet.
They often enjoy being fed and are a delightful sight as they interact with visitors!
Our KuneKune Piglets
We are delighted to have a pair of adorable kunekune piglets, Charlotte and Wilbur, at our ranch. These small, friendly pigs are known for their round bodies and distinctive, tassel-like wattles under their chins.
Charlotte and Wilbur are incredibly social and love to interact with visitors, often approaching with curious snouts, snorts and a playful demeanor.
These little babies enjoy gentle scratches, belly rubs and treats, making them a favorite among guests who delight in their charming personalities and endearing antics.
Our Texas Longhorns
Our ranch is home to five majestic Texas Longhorns, Dolly, Tina and Betty as well as Reba and her one-month-old calf Naomi.
This breed is known for distinctive horns that can extend to over 6 feet from tip to tip. Despite their imposing appearance, these cows are gentle giants, exuding a calm demeanor that enchants all who meet them. They’ll often let you pet and feed them!
Our Miniature Horse
During your farm visit, you’ll meet Winnie, our sweet 7-year-old miniature horse. This gentle mare is known for her petite size and affectionate nature.
Winnie absolutely loves being touched and petted, eagerly leaning into gentle hands as she enjoys the attention. Everyone who spends time with Winnie adores her calm demeanor, brushing her soft coat or braiding her mane.
Her small stature and big heart make her an endearing presence, leaving a lasting impression.
Our Horses
Our ranch is home to a remarkable group of Quarter Horses. Known for their versatility, strength, and gentle nature, Quarter Horses are the heart of our ranch.
These horses are not only excellent for trail riding and ranch work but also friendly and approachable, making them perfect companions for riders of all levels.
During your farm tour, you’ll brush and spend time with one of these majestic animals.
Things to Know
Your Reservation
Reservations are required for all experiences at our ranch. We cannot accommodate walk-ins.
To ensure we start on time, arrive 5 minutes early to allow for check-in, waivers and any necessary preparations. As this experience is not private, additional guests may join you.
Due to the complex nature of scheduling a working ranch, all sales are final.

Dress Code
Dress comfortably and in layers for the weather. Ideal clothing includes jeans or long (not loose) pants as well as jackets or shirts without hoods. No long jewelry that can be caught in an animal’s fur or fencing. Closed toed shoes/boots are a must.
Weather
Humberstone Ranch is a four-season facility. In the event of inclement weather, experiences will be held inside our indoor arena.
