Humberstone Ranch is first and foremost home to our animals. Their feeding, care and quiet time are planned throughout the day, which is why all visits must be booked in advance and take place as part of a guided experience. The ranch is private property and is not a public park. Visitors cannot arrive without a booking or walk around the property on their own. We appreciate your understanding and ask that our team be treated with kindness and respect.

Step into ranch life just minutes from Niagara Falls. Our guided farm visit invites you to meet a variety of animals, explore open pasture, and experience the rhythms of the countryside in a setting that feels welcoming and thoughtfully paced for all ages.
This is not a petting zoo. It is a structured ranch experience rooted in respect and meaningful interaction. Guests have opportunities to feed, observe, and spend time with a variety of animals in their home environment while learning about their personalities and roles on the ranch.
Hand sanitizer stations are available at each animal interaction, and guests will have the opportunity to wash their hands at the conclusion of the visit.
Our regular group visits are shared with other guests, so our pace is designed to give everyone a fair and meaningful turn with each animal within the hour. Because you're visiting alongside others, we're not able to extend time with any one animal during a group visit.
If you'd love a more flexible pace to accommodate whatever your group is drawn to, a private visit is the way to go. Private bookings are just for your group, with no other guests to share time with and no set rotation.
Private visit pricing starts at $240 + HST for your group.
You can select the private tour option when you book.
From full-grown rabbits to tiny Holland Lops, our bunnies bring a quiet sweetness to the ranch. Some are outgoing and hop right over to say hello. Others prefer a slower introduction. You’ll have the chance to sit with them, pet their soft fur, and learn the small quirks that make each one unique.
These curious little goats are often the first to greet visitors. Friendly, expressive, and always interested in what’s happening, they enjoy gentle attention and the occasional snack. Each one has a distinct personality, from bold and playful to calm and affectionate.
Our pigs have big personalities packed into sturdy little frames. They enjoy scratches and attention and are always happy to investigate what’s happening around them. Their relaxed demeanor makes them a favorite with guests of all ages.
Tall, upright, and always on the move, our Indian Runner ducks are full of character. Known for their quick steps and curious nature, they are entertaining to watch and eager participants during feeding time.
Calm, affectionate, and incredibly photogenic, our miniature horses enjoy gentle brushing and quiet interaction. They bring a steady, grounding energy to the experience and are a favorite for photos.
With their sweeping horns and steady presence, our Texas Longhorns bring a sense of scale and history to the ranch. While their interaction is observational rather than hands-on, seeing them move across the pasture up close is something guests don’t forget.
Our Toulouse geese are watchful and full of character. Often seen moving together as a group, they add charm and personality to the landscape while keeping a steady eye on ranch activity.
Being sheepish is actually a thing. But our sheep are far from shy when they're feeling safe and comfortable. They'll often trot right up to guests for scratches on the head. This is a rare opportunity to see just how affectionate sheep can be.
Our turkey Oliver is expressive and surprisingly elegant yet hilarious when he gobbles. Curious and full of personality, he adds a distinctive presence to the ranch atmosphere.
